On Saturday February 18, 2012, the top 20 Choral Reading Groups from across the entire state of Iowa performed at Stephens Auditorium in Ames for the annual All-State Festival.  Earlham's group, "The League of Less Than Extraordinary Ideas" received the critic's choice award, meaning they were honored with the title of the number ONE group in the entire state of Iowa. Earlham competed against 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A schools for this honor and is now proud to represent as the best of the best in our state!   Earlham will proudly display the All-State Flag for this category in our Commons area for the next school year and will then have the honor to return and serve as the "page" for this flag at the 2013 All-State Festival.
