“Follow the yellow brick road to the Earlham School Auditorium on Friday, April 24, at 7:00 p.m. to see talking trees, crows, and lions, witches and flying monkeys, all in the opening night performance of The Wizard of Oz! There will be three performances: the opening night Friday, a second performance Saturday at 7:00 p.m., and a matinee Sunday at 2:00 p.m. With a talented cast ranging from fifth graders to seniors, an equally skilled stage crew, and a live puppy playing Toto, this musical is going to be a flamboyant and glittering array of poofy dresses, crystal balls, hot air balloons, flying broomsticks, and a pair of ruby slippers to cap it all off. Directors Ashley Maiers and Dan von Rentzell have been working hard, along with the enormous and talented cast of this spring production. Come support the students and directors for this amazing rendition of the old classic we all know and love.” - Lauren Thomson Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for students and no-school age children are free. |
