Elementary Math IA Assessment Results

2014 Iowa Assessment Reports were received late last week. Preliminary analysis of the elementary mathematics test data shows an increase in the number of students in the advanced proficient range in grades 4, 5, 6.

Iowa Assessment proficiency is based on National Standard Scores by subtest, test period, and test level. The attachment below shows the breakdown of these scores by grade level.

Additional analysis of elementary mathematics results by sub-group and class will also be completed as one indicator of strengths and weaknesses in instruction in the elementary building. This analysis will be conducted in each content area and grade level in the district in the upcoming weeks as well. Analysis of all data will be shared publicly as it is completed.

Individual student reports will be sent home to parents within the next two weeks.
