Four Students Compete at State Speech Contest

On Saturday March 9th, four Earlham High School Students attended the IHSSA State Speech Contest in Nevada. The four performers included Sarah Smith, Rachel Blanchard, Jordan Pohlman and Brenna Rice. Sarah received two Division I ratings for her Poetry and Literary Program pieces. Rachel received a Division I rating for her Public Address and a Division II rating for her self-penned After Dinner speech. Jordan received an Division I rating for her Original Oratory performance. Brenna received a Division II rating for her Radio News Announcing entry. Congratulations to the girls for their hard work and efforts this speech season!
