High School Marching Band Earns Division I at State Contest

The Earlham High School Marching Band participated in the Iowa High School Music Association's State Marching Band Contest on Saturday, October 17th. The students earned their 6th consecutive Division 1 (Superior) Rating. This year's marching band show is "Music from West Side Story." The marching band is under the direction of Mr. Nate Sletten and Drum Majors Rachel Follmer and Cassie Bond. The band would like to especially thank Mrs. Merry Johnson for her help with the uniforms; Mr. Ron Rieckmann for all of his help on and off the field; and the family, friends, and the community for their support and encouragement throughout the season. Don't miss the band's final performance at the 7-12 Band and Choir Fall Concert onMonday, October 26th at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium.
