Large Group Speech Competes at State

Large Group State Speech contest was held on February 2nd in Waukee. Earlham had 4 groups that advanced from district two weeks ago. Results of the contest as follows: Ensemble Acting - Brenna Rice Jenette Follmer - Superior Division I Rating. Improvisational Acting - Andrew Papousek, Brenna Rice, Sarah Smith, Zach Wisecup - Superior Division I Rating. Choral Reading - Sarah Smith, Jenette Follmer, Ari Brightman, Alexa Marsh, Becca Storm, Emilie Palmer, Hanna Cahalan, Taylor Aquino, Alex TeKippe, Rachel Follmer, Cole Ridgely, Tiffany Smith, Katie Steward, Kirsten Morford, Jacob Ladwig - Superior Division I Rating. Ensemble Acting - Jordan Pohlman, McKensie Morrison - Outstanding Division II Rating.
Speech season continues as we start practicing for individual contests on February 23rd.
