Speech Students Compete at District Contest

Earlham students earn high marks at the IHSSA district speech contest held Saturday February 27th in Osceola.

15 Entries ÷ 12 Students = 13 Division I Ratings!

Students receiving division I superior ratings and will move on to State contest in two weeks were:

Grant Becker - Solo Musical Theater

Morgan Allen

Taylor Nichols – Poetry

Karl Heimberger - After Dinner

Kaylee Hohertz - Solo Musical Theater

Rachel Follmer - Solo Musical Theater

Lauren Thomson- After Dinner

Stephen Woolcott - Solo Musical Theater

Jack Geneser – Improvisational Acting

Noah Wright – Improvisational Acting

Two students who had outstanding performances and received division 2 ratings were:

State Contest is set for March 12th at Des Moines North High School.
