Governor Branstad annually proclaims March 5th as Take Five Iowa Day, a time for parents to set aside a few minutes to discuss drugs with their children. To continue these important conversations, The Partnership is providing Take Five flyers with easy-to-use tips for parents. Iowa schools have been using these flyers for over 10 years now. Studies show teenagers who learn at home and school – through ongoing dialogue – about the dangers of drugs, are up to 50% less likely to use drugs.
